Description: Epoxy kolor primer is a 2K anticorrosive coating for protection of metal surfaces and with good adhesive strength. It is based on epoxy resins for inside and outside (enamel only for inside-not UV-rays resistant). There is no lead and chromate in the composition. It is resistant to chemicals. It is used in chemical industry and power stations, for metal constructions, bridges and ship yards.
Colour tones: white, beige, oxide red, grey
Usage: For optimal protection it is necessary to sand the surface (SA 2 1/2, ISO 8501-1). The surface must be dry, without greasy and dust marks. The temperature may nit drop below 12°C. Paint A is well mixed with hardener B by mixer. After 10 minutes it is necessary to dilute the mixture. Mixture ratio: Paint A: hardener B = 5:1 (weight ratio), pot life is 6 hours.
It should be well mixed and diluted with EPOXY DILUENT (10-20% for spraying, 5-10% for airless spraying). It is manipulated by brush, roller, air pistol or airless spraying. (through airless spray nozzle: narrow = 215/218, medium = 415/418, wide = 615/618). Time and stage of drying: 15 minutes for dry dust free and 3 hours for dry tack free. It is dry to recoat after 16 hours or 30 minutes at 80°C. Theoretical application rate is 120g/m2 for a dry film thickness is 60µm.
